The Colchester office recently attended a murder mystery evening at Wivenhoe House for their Team Building staff event. As staff arrived they enjoyed welcome drinks as the scene was set by the professional actors brought in for the event, as well as a selection of staff that were given speaking parts for the evening. Staff were seated at their tables for a delicious 3-course meal where the scenes were played out in between each course, during which, the victim Will Power, played with great gusto by Office Partner David Cresswell, was murdered by candelabra! With the enthusiastic acting skills and some rather interesting accents from our staff, everyone made a real effort to get involved throughout the evening, with laughs aplenty. At the end of the meal each team were tasked with selecting a song where they were required to change the lyrics in line with their chosen suspect and perform this to everyone. Well done to table ‘Dilapidation’ who were the winners of the evening taking the well sought after trophy, the office rubber ducky, for identifying Belinda Wild as the wicked murderer! A great evening was had by all, special thanks to the Colchester Social Committee members, Victoria Smith, Max Chapman and Chris Brown for organising such a great event.
