As of 31st March 2016, the Zero Carbon Hub has ceased operations due to industry funding being withdrawn.
The Zero Carbon Hub has been instrumental in supporting the zero carbon home policies over the past 8 years and has been successful in pushing forward higher energy efficiency standards.
With the withdrawal of governmental support for zero carbon homes policy in 2014, it was hoped that the Zero Carbon Hub would stand as a beacon for best practice for the private sector, to take up the mantle where government failed.
Without a strong leader in this aim, will we ever see zero carbon homes as a reality?
