Energy
Ingleton Wood can offer a whole range of energy related services including feasibility studies, low carbon design and assessment, through construction to post-construction occupancy reviews. We pride ourselves on providing cost-effective and sustainable solutions, including zero and sub zero-carbon designs.
We can also provide an assessment of renewable energy options for any site to BREEAM or Code for Sustainable Homes requirements. Option appraisals will be used to establish commercially available solutions, their cost-effectiveness, environmental benefit, and how the technologies can be best utilised.
Although we can investigate any system that may be considered of benefit to the client, the systems we commonly appraise are: solar hot water heating, ground source heat pumps (geothermal energy), air source heat pumps, biomass, wind, photovoltaics and rainwater recycling.
We can review the systems and make firm recommendations based on the required benefits or payback period. In addition we can offer whole life cycle analysis for individual components to assist in making an informed decision. We have a vast experience in delivering these reports and have subsequently assisted many clients to deliver schemes utilising the recommended technologies.
We can also evaluate communal heating systems and combined heat and power (CHP) facilities, particularly as part of larger developments or for potential Energy Service Company (ESco) schemes.
