Education Experience

Ingleton Wood specialises in the provision of professional services to the education sector. We act both for individual schools and colleges as well as local education authorities, many of whom we work for under partnering or framework agreements.

Our services range from the preparation of maintenance programmes, asset management plans and defects analysis to the preparation of feasibility reports, specifications and design for repair, maintenance and new build projects.

As a multi-disciplinary practice, with architecture, building services and building surveying in-house, we can provide benefits to the client in terms of quality and efficiency through improved team collaboration and relevant experience. For example, we have completed many successful new build and refurbishment projects under our framework agreement with Westminster City Council, which encompasses all of these services.

Working on education properties brings its own specific challenges, particularly relating to school holidays when the bulk of construction works must often be completed. We are experienced in working within these restrictions and planning projects to suit the holiday period.

We can also carry out a full range of professional services for educational projects including curriculum analysis, asset management plans and planned maintenance.
