Leisure and Retail Experience

Ingleton Wood has a varied and exciting involvement with the leisure and retail sectors. The Practice has worked with retailers, private leisure providers and local authorities on projects ranging from swimming pools and children's centres to the National Theatre.

Our retail work includes design proposals for high street outlets, sanitary ware showrooms, estate agents' offices and restaurants. We have also carried out refurbishment and surveying work and interior space planning for local authorities, including libraries and other 'drop in' style environments for services such as tourist information and adult education.

The Practice has therefore a good knowledge of current retail trends and can provide new concept design studies as well as upgrades of existing branded retail environments and shell and core fit-outs.

With our services team collaborative working is particularly relevant for large scale leisure facilities and sports halls where the complex servicing requirements can be carefully integrated within the design process.

Our Interior Design department can provide a complete package including furniture, fabrics, graphics and branding. Projects range from Grade I listed stables restaurant at Forty Hall Cafe to contemporary interiors such as BT Design Group head office.
