The building surveying team at Colchester recently undertook a detailed condition survey on Bruce Castle this week for Haringey Council.
The Grade I listed building is a 16th-century manor house in Lordship Lane, Tottenham, London and is of national importance and one of the oldest brick built structures in the country.
The survey included the Round Tower, which is a Tudor structure set in the grounds and believed to have been used to house the hunting hawks of the various owners of the Castle.
