The Cambridge office recently enjoyed a historic tour of Cambridge for their latest team building event. The tour was brought alive by tour guide and rugby legend Tony Rodgers who gave staff an excellent insight into the history and myths of the city of Cambridge.
Staff were split into teams with their tour commencing at Great Saint Mary’s Church following on to Kings College, Senate House, Trinity College, the Pickerel Inn, the Corpus Clock and ending at The Eagle.
During the tour our staff learned of the city’s history with stories ranging from royalty to amusing anecdotes regarding the student pranksters of Cambridge University.
Our Cambridge staff had an enjoyable day which ended with drinks at the Eagle Pub, the location of which the famous James Watson and Francis Crick came up with their proposal for the structure of DNA.
Here, the scores were calculated and although it was a close call with Gary and his team looking to be the likely winners, Anni’s team stole the trophy with the highest overall score! Well done to all those that took part and watch this space for more team building updates!
