Ingleton Wood and Charles Clarke and Son have spent the last nine months refurbishing an unloved Grade II Listed farmhouse near Radwinter which is now nearing completion. |
The building, situated next to a Scheduled Ancient Monument has been used as a farmhouse for several hundred years and dates back originally to the late 14th Century. Prior to the works, the building had been poorly maintained with inappropriate making good and thus required substantial rectification. During this process, the house revealed areas of beautifully detailed timber beams, hidden windows and areas of the once covered over timber frame, which have now been opened up and restored back to their original state. |
We all hope that the building can now be a treasured family home and maintained for future generations. |
