The Great British Tea Break in aid of Lymphoma Association... The story so far Thursday, 19th March 2015

Ingleton Wood are proud to be taking part in the Lymphoma Association Great British Tea Break to raise money to support patients and families affected by Lymphoma. Each of our four offices are participating in the event, with our London, Colchester and Billericay tea parties having been a great success. Our final event at our Norwich office will be held on 17th April at our new premises!

Every 40 minutes someone is diagnosed with Lymphoma, the 5th most common cancer in the UK. A former colleague Clare, who is our inspiration for supporting this charity, has been diagnosed with Lymphoma and we were pleased she was able to attend our Billericay event.

Each office incorporated a 'mufti day' purple dress code on the day with staff donating for the privilege, as well as hosting bake off competitions with many of us baking into the early hours on the days leading up to the event.

The three offices welcomed neighbouring companies, clients, contractors, friends and family as well as past colleagues who contributed greatly to make the event a success in raising funds for such a good cause.

We also hosted raffles and were overwhelmed with the generosity of all those that donated prizes, some of which included retail vouchers, spa and treatment vouchers, signed Essex Cricket Club memorabilia and various bottles of alcohol to name a few. Thank you to all who donated prizes and purchase raffle tickets.

The running total is currently over £1,600 with our Norwich office event still to come! We are delighted to be able to make such a sizeable donation to Lymphoma Association. Our grand total will be announced shortly, so watch this space!

If you would still like to donate, you can do so via our Just Giving page www.justgiving.com/Ingleton-Wood1

We're proud to feature in local press that covered the event: http://www.gazette-news.co.uk/news/11867344.Staff_take_the_cake/

A big thank you to everyone that has participated in organising, attending, donating and supporting the events held to date.
