Building Information Modelling

Ingleton Wood have offered 3D modelling services for many years and with the increasing use of building information modelling (BIM) within the construction industry, we have expanded our understanding and capability to ensure we are equipped to deliver BIM projects that meet and exceed client expectations. We understand that the transition to BIM can be difficult and confusing and we are experienced in acting as information coordinators for clients, contractors and designers who wish to expand their own experience of delivering BIM projects.

Our multi-disciplinary design teams have experience with handling complicated multi-building and multi-discipline shared model projects. These require higher levels of team coordination and through design team workshops we are able to work with our clients to provide them with full visual appreciation of their building pre-construction and work with other consultants to ensure we gain the benefit of clash detection at design stage making the process of construction cheaper and quicker. Post construction we can work with clients to continue the use of the BIM model as a lifelong FM tool for ongoing management, adaption and maintenance scheduling.

Our sustainability teams can provide integrated energy analysis services through data extraction directly from a BIM model, meaning projects can be evaluated at very early design stages to ensure that they will achieve client and regulatory requirements for environmental performance.

Our BIM services include:

  • Modelling
    • Immersive photo-spheres
    • Web hosted 3D models for viewing on smart phones, tablets and VR headsets
