Employee Profiles

"Since I joined Ingleton Wood at the start of 2012 I’ve been involved in a lot of interesting and often challenging projects which has encouraged me to better myself and my understanding of the built environment.

One of the main objectives I’ve achieved during my time here has been learning how to use both Revit and BIM at an ever-increasing depth so that a greater level of coordination between the various services disciplines we deliver at Ingleton Wood is provided. Valuable lessons from the past are carried forward in my daily approach to both current and future projects. These are some of the reasons why I look forward to continuing to work in this industry with the team I’m a part of here in London."

Jason Rivers | Associate | Architect - London

"I joined Ingleton Wood as an Associate in 2015, in the newly formed Cambridge office to develop the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Team. It has been extremely rewarding to see the Cambridge office grow and this is because of the huge support across the teams and disciplines in all our offices. Since then I have progressed to Director and most recently a Partner of the Practice in early 2019.

No two days are the same and I look forward to the integrated working of the teams as I can appreciate the challenges they face. This collaboration among teams, offices and disciplines provides a ‘joined up’ approach which definitely benefits our clients.

Ingleton Wood not only provides a wealth of support to its staff, it also encourages professional development within, and to, external companies and colleges. Staff get actively involved in providing mentoring, work experience and ongoing training to encourage and develop those with an interest in any of our disciplines."

Anni Folan-White | Partner | Building Services Engineer - Cambridge

"I joined Ingleton Wood in 2015 as an Architectural Apprentice, with the intention of studying my degree alongside working full time to gain experience. Ingleton Wood have supported me through my studies as well as teaching and encouraging me on live projects, giving me valuable real world experience. Within my role I work on a very varied range of projects, each with unique requirements to apply my growing knowledge and take on more responsibility."

Mike Merton | Assistant Architectural Apprentice - Norwich

"Since joining Ingleton Wood in 2012 as a project architect, I have been given the opportunity and responsibility to develop my own individual style within a growing team environment. I have been given the support and encouragement to further my own interests through organised CPD events and industry recognised training programmes. I especially enjoy the everyday challenges of running multiple design projects and I thoroughly enjoy being part of a well-recognised design team."

Andrew Collett | Associate | Architect - Colchester

"I have been with Ingleton Wood since 2012. The firm has lived up to its reputation of being a dynamic and professional place to work. The working environment is supportive and you are actively encouraged to seek out new clients and opportunities, which I enjoy doing. I have found it both exciting and interesting to work alongside other disciplines, including Architects, Engineers and Planners in order to offer clients a true 'one-stop' property service."

Scott Barlow | Director | Building Surveyor - Colchester

"I  joined Ingleton Wood as a Graduate Building Surveyor. At present I am undertaking my APC in Building Surveying and hope to gain MRICS accreditation next year. Since joining, I have had the opportunity to expand my knowledge and deal with a diverse range of interesting projects involving both residential and commercial. I am passionate about IT and the latest technologies, I enjoy learning new skills and embrace the challenges Building Surveying throws at me."

Chana Abrahams | Building Surveyor - London
