The core feature of BIM is an information rich, dimensional model that not only represents the physical geometry of real world elements but can also contain information such as cost, quantity, materiality, volume and location. There is no limit to the amount or type of information that can be included within our models and Ingleton Wood LLP can assist clients to realise the full benefits of BIM modelling.
We understand the added benefits modelling can bring and routinely use 3D modelling software to produce our drawings and documentation even if a traditional 2D deliverable is required.
Many of our primary services such as Architecture, Building Services Engineering and Interior Design already include 3D modelling as part of their service.
When required, we can provide our clients with a full BIM deliverable which will include a 3D graphical model, a database of asset data extracted from the graphical model and PDF drawings and associated information for operation and maintenance manuals.
To enable the full benefits of a BIM deliverable we can provide additional services to capture as-constructed and lifecycle changes to a design, so that your asset records are up to date for future use.
It is important that our client, the end user of the model knows and understands how they will use the information gathered in it. We can help develop the client brief to ensure you are not paying for information you don’t need.
