Under their framework agreement, Ingleton Wood undertook a Window Condition Survey exercise covering the University of Bedfordshire’s entire property portfolio. Our Building Surveyors worked closely with the University’s Estates Team to agree both survey criteria and also the design of the survey schedule. A scoring matrix system was applied and scores used to determine priorities for window repairs and also replacement windows. |
Using the priorities identified from the Condition Survey, Ingleton Wood’s Building Surveyors implemented a programme of window repairs and window replacements at the University’s Bedford Campus. Works have included the repair and redecoration of existing timber windows, and also replacement double-glazed timber, PVC-U or powder coated aluminium framed windows. |
