Benefits

Salaries are based on our policy to pay at or over the local market rate. Salaries are reviewed annually and bonuses are payable on achieving targets for the Practice. Employee surveys are carried out regularly to ensure that employees have the opportunity to give feedback on how they feel about working for the Practice.

The Practice also currently pays an employer contribution to the workplace pension at 5% of salary and employees must make a minimum contribution of 3% of salary but can make further contributions, all by salary sacrifice.

All staff have a health cash plan benefit and professional qualified staff receive private healthcare. In addition, subscriptions are paid for up to two professional bodies.

Holiday entitlements range from 21 days per year for trainees who are being sponsored to obtain a professional qualification, to a maximum of 30 days based on length of service.

The Practice operates a Cycle to Work scheme where employees can purchase a bicycle to cycle to work under a salary sacrifice scheme which gives tax advantages.

The Practice supports and sponsors staff obtaining vocational qualifications such as part time, degree and diploma courses at universities or colleges of further education.

The Practice offers training and development at all levels including both undergraduate and graduate programmes, we have also embraced the new Degree Apprenticeships across all our disciplines with apprentices studying at LSBU, Coventry University and Anglia Ruskin University. Such day release training is not limited to degree level, we are pleased to sponsor foundation level courses such as construction management, IT, building services and architectural technology. Technical training and CPD is offered across all disciplines both inhouse and externally. The practice also provides a programme of coaching to all staff with focussed sessions on topics such as communication, mentoring and time management.

The Practice is committed to the principles of agile working and working practices with many employees working on a flexible basis to help manage their work-life balance. The wellbeing of our staff is paramount.
