The design initiative, led by furniture designer and manufacturer Actiu, invited London-based creatives to upcycle the company’s iconic ‘Badminton’ chair and auction the winning pieces to raise funds for UK cancer support charity, the Maggie’s Centre. The Maggie’s Centre, built in the grounds of NHS cancer hospitals, offers free practical, emotional and social support to cancer sufferers as well as their family and friends.
