Teeing off at Suffolk’s Hintlesham Golf Club, Ingleton Wood’s annual golf day united colleagues and clients to raise vital funds for St Helena Hospice.
What started as a modest fundraising idea has grown into a much-loved tradition, combining friendly competition with a shared commitment to a cause that is close to everyone at Ingleton Wood.
Now in its ninth year, this year’s golf day alone raised over £8,000, adding to the more than £50,000 raised collectively over the years. These funds make a tangible difference, enabling St Helena Hospice to provide essential care and support to people living with incurable illness and their families across North East Essex and beyond.
“We are delighted to have hosted our ninth annual charity golf day in support of St Helena Hospice,” commented David Cresswell, Managing Partner at Ingleton Wood and Trustee of St Helena Hospice. “We are immensely proud of what has been achieved over the years, and our heartfelt thanks go to everyone who has taken part, donated, or supported the event. It is your generosity that makes this possible.”
Ruth Jennings, Major Corporates & Major Donors Lead at St Helena Hospice, highlighted the meaningful impact that fundraising initiatives have on the Hospice’s ability to serve its community.
“It was an honour to support Ingleton Wood’s annual golf day and witness the generosity and commitment of everyone involved,” commented Ruth. “With the running costs of the Hospice continually rising, fundraising events like this are vital to keep St Helena operational. The ongoing support from Ingleton Wood over the past nine years has been invaluable, enabling us to continue providing essential care and support to those in our community who need it most”.
