Under the Party Wall etc Act 1996, we lead the strategic planning for developers, receiving appointment as Building Owner’s Surveyor. Similarly, we are regularly appointed as Adjoining Owner’s Surveyor. In both scenarios, we negotiate the terms of the Award to resolve the dispute in a timely manner and take into account appropriate ways to mitigate impact and risks.
In terms of access agreements, we are experienced in approaching or receiving requests for access onto neighbouring land.
Irrespective of the nature of the neighbourly agreement, we prepare detailed schedules of condition to act as an accurate record in the unlikely event that damage is caused.
