Ingleton Wood has extensive experience of the commercial sector, ranging from offices and retail projects, to technical facilities, car parks, telecommunications and industrial work.
As a multi-disciplinary Practice, we offer an integrated design and management approach to projects, including repairs and refurbishments as well as new build, extensions and alterations. The Practice provides a comprehensive consultancy service from early stage feasibility studies and concept design, through the entire project cycle up to handover.
Our interest is not only project driven - we provide professional services including building surveys/ technical due diligence (TDD), dilapidations, neighbourly matters, planned maintenance reports and all aspects of building pathology. These services and more, form part of our comprehensive package which can be individually tailored to suit both building occupiers and owners.
Much of the Practice’s work is generated through repeat business, often working within framework agreements or with long-standing clients providing trusted services and building valued relationships.
Sustainability is a fundamental aspect of our design approach, and with the introduction of Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) has brought environmental performance to the top of the design agenda especially when considering existing commercial buildings. Working with our environmental design team, we seek whole-life best value solutions where capital cost is evaluated against operating expenditure. We can also evaluate renewable energy options in terms of suitability and payback periods.
Our interior design team can provide space planning and fit-out services. Working with our Building Services team, we can provide adaptable layouts which integrate the IT and data provision, provide flexible services distribution in raised floors or suspended ceilings, and achieve a design image to meet our clients’ aspirations.
