Darren joined Ingleton Wood in 2017 and is a Chartered Architect with experience in designing and managing a varied project portfolio ranging in complexity and scale, and capable of leading multidisciplinary design teams. Darren has over 20 years’ experience in a variety of sectors such as education, healthcare, residential, commercial and the public sector and secure infrastructure sectors.
His core experience is in secure infrastructure both UK and US, and since joining Ingleton Wood has led and grown this sector across all offices with the ability to provide UK, European and US coverage. He is passionate about delivering a quality design service that responds to the infinite number of challenges that the UK, European and US infrastructure presents. During this time Darren has developed a bespoke multidisciplinary team to deliver a range of project typologies via a single source. The teams have the capability to understand and balance a variety of cross-country regulations in an environment with an ever changing mission.
With extensive knowledge and experience of some 300+ public sector and secure infrastructure related projects ranging from minor works through to major project programmes of £90m+. His priority is to ensure project delivery while providing sustainable and viable schemes by working closely with the design team, client and the wider stakeholders.
