Ingleton Wood offer drainage support for your project from feasibility through to construction. In support of planning applications or simply due diligence, we can determine outline flood risk issues and prepare an initial drainage strategy to inform development proposals. This will include attenuation implications to identify budget allowance for the project as it moves forwards and solutions to include within the scheme masterplan.

Adoptable drainage comes in many guises from a new residential sewer network, to a new community attenuation pond, to a simple indirect connection to an existing network. We will always provide a compliant design with the requirements of Building Regulations and NHBC Technical Guidance. Where possible we will advise on the implementation of sustainable drainage measures where it will add value to the project in reducing below ground attenuation and reduced maintenance implications across the whole life cycle of the project.

Where infiltration is feasible, the usage of swales, filter strips and soakaways can have a significant reduction in attenuation requirements and where appropriate, discharge to a watercourse can provide a readymade disposal solution.
