This varied asset class includes retail units, shopping centres, out of town retail, restaurants and coffee shops, which can be housed in a diverse range of buildings. With this diversity of construction type and age it is of paramount importance that landlords and operators have inspiring design and robust technical advice to maximise their business potential, minimise their risk and ensure compliance of the requisite standards and pieces of legislation.

Our retail work includes design proposals for high street outlets, showrooms, estate agents’ offices and restaurants. We have also provided Building Survey Reports/Technical Due Diligence (TDD) and dilapidations services for stand-alone retail units as well as shopping centres. We have a good knowledge of current retail trends and can provide new concept design studies as well as upgrades of existing branded retail environments and shell and core fit-outs.

Our services engineering team perform a key role to report on the services installations to advise appropriately on acquisitions and planned maintenance as well as statutory compliance.
