Zero Carbon

The UK has committed to a legally binding target of net zero emissions by 2050 and many organisations have committed to meeting this target by 2030.

It is estimated that 80% of existing buildings will be required to complete energy efficiency and carbon emission improvements to meet this target.

Meeting this target will need all building owners and operators to consider their energy usage and adapt to a more energy efficient way of life.

Will your buildings meet the Net Zero Carbon requirements by 2050?

Ingleton Wood’s team of Energy and Carbon Reduction consultants can help you. We understand energy and building performance and specialise in providing energy improvement measures.

Our team’s experience varies from reviewing building energy usage, providing strategic energy advice to inform upgrade and investment strategies, new build energy compliance advice, and energy audits of complex estates.

Zero Carbon strategies

The UK's net-zero emissions law has put reducing carbon emissions from energy use high on people’s agendas. Our sustainability team have the industry and sector expertise to help you review options and make the move. We can provide a clear vision of how to reduce your emissions by analysing your current data, setting realistic carbon targets and delivering an energy strategy that is realistic for your business needs.

Low & Zero Carbon (LZC) Reports

LZC reports are required under BREEAM in order to gain credits for the use of renewable technologies.

Our assessors can analyse your project and renewable technologies available to suggest the most economic and feasible LZC technologies for use on site. These early stage reports have the potential to inform the energy strategy for the development and help reduce the energy demand and use throughout the life of the scheme.

Designing for Zero Carbon

Our ethos is to design with a fabric first approach; we believe that reducing the energy use in a building is instrumental in delivering a sustainable, resilient and cost effective future for occupants. Our sustainability specialists can advise you on the use of highly efficient and low carbon systems to reduce the use of energy in your building and the impact on the environment. We can then advise how to mitigate the remaining carbon emissions on your development in order to reach Zero Carbon standard in the most economical and practical way.

Our sustainability and architecture teams have been designing and building Zero Carbon housing since 2008.

Ingleton Wood can assist you to understand your carbon footprint and work with you to develop and implement low carbon strategies that will help reduce both your energy bills and your impact on the environment.
