Ingleton Wood has many years’ experience in residential design, for both the private and affordable housing sectors. This covers the whole range of housing types, including new-build, refurbishment, assisted living and special needs. We have transferred these skills to the Defence sector to support a wide range of projects, from renovations / new builds through to 500 unit plus masterplans for major defence assets.
As a multi-disciplinary practice, we can provide an integrated team of planners, architects and environmental designers to create optimised and coordinated design solutions for our clients and meet the needs of modern defence housing.
Sustainability is a fundamental part of our design ethos, and we carry out a preliminary Code for Sustainable Homes assessment for every scheme. Working with our environmental discipline, low-energy solutions and renewable energy options can be evaluated at an early stage and incorporated into the scheme development.
