Ingleton Wood LLP were appointed to undertake design services for the internal refurbishment of Red Bull’s central London offices. Ingleton Wood provided architecture, interior design, planning, MEP, structural, project management and contract administration services.
Working alongside the Client and their specialist concept designers Ingleton Wood assisted with the development of the concept designs for the 5th floor bar, meeting rooms and terrace as well as breakout and flexible working space on the mezzanine floors.
The scheme consists of internal refurbishment and remodelling, and replacement of mechanical and electrical systems. Planning applications and landlord consents were also required. Structural works were required to create access from the bar to the terrace via large sliding glazed doors which enable views from the 5th floor across London. Views into and out of the bar were key and designed to draw you through the space using the sun as a focal point of the design to create a bright and airy interior. Meeting rooms were designed to increase the flexibility of space within the building to improve staff and visitor experiences.
The project was designed and delivered within a tight programme in collaboration with the contractor, client and specialist consultants to realise Red Bull’s ambitious vision.
