Colchester foodbank 'reverse advent calendar' appeal Thursday, 7th December 2017

Ingleton Wood are proud to be taking part in the local Colchester foodbank’s Reverse Advent Calendar Appeal in partnership with The Trussell Trust.

The Trust run a network of over 400 foodbanks, giving emergency food and support to people in crisis across the UK, where thirteen million people live below the poverty line. In the last year they donated 1,182,954 three-day emergency food supplies to people in crisis.

Staff have been asked to simply bring in specified items each day and Colchester foodbank will package these up and donate to families and individuals in the 2 weeks run up to Christmas.

The first round of donations that have kindly been donated will help these vulnerable families and individuals over Christmas by providing vital items for people experiencing extreme hardship in their local community.

Our final drop off for donations will be on Friday 15th December 2017.
