Ingleton Wood's Senior Partner, Laura Mansel-Thomas, and Building Services Engineer, Sam Boone, were delighted to attend the launch of the new 'Design a Jamie Oliver Restaurant Programme', held in collaboration with the award-winning education consultancy and social enterprise, Class Of Your Own (COYO).
This exciting initiative aims to ignite passion in young people by offering a hands-on experience in the built environment, providing students with a unique opportunity to learn about architecture, design, and sustainability in an engaging way.
Offered as the latest addition to COYO’s Design Engineer Construct (DEC) Awards, this programme will be available free to schools, ensuring it reaches and motivates as many young minds as possible.
As part of the event, Sam Boone delivered an inspiring presentation highlighting how the DEC programme had positively influenced his professional development, and we hope this initiative continues to inspire and shape the futures of many young people.
