Ingleton Wood has further expanded its architectural team following a significant rise in demand for its services.
The Practice has appointed Senior Architect Kreshna Mootyen to its architectural team based in Billericay, Essex. The appointment marks another step in the Practice’s ongoing efforts to provide sustainable solutions for clients across the built environment.
With experience spanning over the past 15 years, including multi-million-pound global projects in the Middle East, Istanbul and Mauritius, Kreshna’s knowledge and vast design and technical experience will bolster Ingleton Wood’s current architectural offering. Notable previous clients include Foster and Partners, Benoy, and Hopkins Architects where he oversaw the completion of projects from start to completion.
Kreshna said: “It’s a great honour to join such a well-renowned architectural and mutli-disciplinary consultancy which has built a strong presence across the sector. The opportunity to join a team with such a proven track record and with values that are so closely aligned with my own was too good to turn down.
“Everyone in the Billericay office, and across the wider company have been extremely welcoming and I look forward to displaying my experience and knowledge to further help the team develop and grow.”
Since joining the Ingleton Wood team Kreshna has been involved with notable projects taking place at Rougham Hill, Kings College Hospital, and Our lady of Lourdes School.
Speaking about the future of the industry, Kreshna said: “Sustainability and the environmental impact of buildings has been at the forefront of the industry for many years and won’t be going away anytime soon. Considering the long-term impact and use of a building is essential and must be incorporated into the design and construction.”
Marta Holton, Senior Associate Architect at Ingleton Wood’s Billericay office, said: “After a successful run of securing multiple architectural projects throughout 2023, the team was looking for a senior architect with design flair and experience to strengthen our dynamically evolving team.
“His design qualities shine through his portfolio that includes a number of multi-million pound schemes across the world, but most notably in Saudi Arabia.
“His strengths span much further than just design, he also has great experience in managing design teams, client liaison, Building Information Modelling coordinated projects, and a significant interest in sustainability.”
Kreshna’s appointment reflects the significant growth seen by the Practice over the past 12 months, with notable milestones including the opening of a new office in Nottingham, the hiring of the 250th employee, and cementing its Top 50 consultancy ranking in Building Magazine’s league table for the fifth year in a row.
