Laura, Wesley and Anni represented Ingleton Wood at the 23rd H&V News Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel on 20th April. All three members from our building services team were judges for the 2017 awards with Laura also presenting the award for best District Heating Project to Kensa Heat Pumps.
A standing ovation was given to Stacey Rogers who won the ‘Outstanding Contribution to the Industry’ award for Project Shout, which exists to raise awareness of the dangers of Carbon Monoxide. The entire room was moved by Stacey, who lost sadly her son to Carbon Monoxide poisoning.
The evening is a big event in many calendars and over 1000 people were present from all over the UK. After a fabulous dinner and a silent auction in aid of the Carl Burrows Trust, the casino opened with games of Roulette and Blackjack underway, all in aid of Rethink, the Mental Health Charity.
The awards cover the entire HVAC and building services supply chain from:
• Contractors
• Consultants
• Installers
• Private building owners
• Service and maintenance companies
• BIM (building information modelling)
• Retrofit, installers and safety and training providers
A fabulous evening was had by all and many congratulations to all the deserving winners, we very much look forward to next year’s awards!
