“This new recognition week is a great opportunity to celebrate the achievements of those we've supported on their Chartership journeys. We're proud of the hard work and dedication they've shown, and it's rewarding to see their growth as professionals. Their success not only marks an important milestone in their careers but also contributes to the continued strength and innovation of our team and the wider industry.”
Insight from a collection of Ingleton Wood's Building Surveyors who have been supported on their APC journey:
Daniel Dalton, Chartered Building Surveyor
"Becoming chartered is such a huge step in your career; the culmination of years of work, study, and training. I’ve been very fortunate to have dedicated colleagues who have helped see me through to this point, giving up their time to share their experience in question and answer sessions, mock interviews, and diligent reviews of my written submission documents. Ingleton Wood’s APC candidate’s group was also an excellent forum to collaborate on the Chartership process and ensure I was on the right track as I approached my final assessment”.
Kadeem McFarlane, Senior Building Surveyor
"Achieving Chartered status has been a significant milestone in my career, and I am incredibly grateful for the support and mentorship I received from Ingleton Wood during this process. Their commitment to professional development has helped me grow and refine my skills, allowing me to deliver even greater value to our clients."

Tom Godfrey, Chartered Building Surveyor
"I am extremely proud to have reached this important achievement in my career. The support and encouragement I received from colleagues across Ingleton Wood has been essential in helping me become a Chartered professional and I'm excited to continue contributing to the success of the Practice and our clients."
Chartered Week is a new national initiative designed to highlight the vital role of Chartered status in maintaining trust and excellence across professions. Achieving Chartership is a mark of quality, setting high standards, and reinforcing professional integrity.
As a practice, we are proud to be members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE), the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT), the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), and the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI). We also have chartered professionals who are members of the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE), and the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).
Each of these esteemed professional bodies upholds the highest industry standards, and we are committed to mentoring and supporting our aspiring professionals in line with the standards these bodies represent.
As we celebrate Chartered Week 2025, we proudly reaffirm our commitment to fostering talent and supporting professional growth. We are incredibly proud of our colleagues who have achieved Chartered status and remain dedicated to guiding future candidates on their path to success.
If you’re an aspiring professional looking for a dynamic and supportive environment to develop your career, we’d love to hear from you!
