The Department for Education has published updated Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) guidance, introducing several important updates for applicants.
Key changes:
- You must now evidence the compliant procurement of technical advisors.
- Schools in the School Rebuilding Programme can only apply for urgent legal compliance or health and safety issues.
- Contingency or provisional sums can’t be used to increase project scope.
- Non-compliant bids risk disqualification.
Submission deadline: 12 noon, 16th December 2025.
