Ingleton Wood’s multidisciplinary teams delivered a comprehensive range of services for this project, including Interior Design, Architecture, Building Surveying, Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health (MEP) services, as well as Project Management and Contract Administration.
With an estimated project cost of over £600K, this redevelopment aims to create a more efficient use of internal spaces, delivering enhanced functionality and benefits for both students and staff.
Overcoming challenges
The project timeline proceeded in two phases: Phase 1 completion by end of Summer 2024 and Phase 2 compled by Winter 2024. Delivering a project of this scope within a short timeframe posed significant challenges, particularly in design, procurement, and site coordination.
However, thanks to our strong relationship with our contractors and efficient communication with City College Norwich, these challenges were managed effectively.
The Principal Contractor, SMART CIG, also played a crucial role in this project, working closely with Ingleton Wood to ensure that all aspects of the development meet the highest standards and are completed on time.
