Ingleton Wood selected for prestigious Government framework Wednesday, 18th October 2017

Ingleton Wood is delighted to announce that we have been selected for the Crown Commercial Service’s public-sector framework for Estates Professional Services.

We have secured one of five places on two regional lots – Lot 2A East Anglia and Lot 2C London and the South East – as part of a consortium spearheaded by healthcare planning and infrastructure consultancy Essentia Trading Ltd.

Essentia will act as lead consultant on any project commissioned and will sub-contract and manage niche requirements to Ingleton Wood and London-based business rates and compulsory purchase advice specialists Tanner Rose.

The CCS is an executive agency of the Cabinet Office and helps the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services.

As part of our role we will be required to provide strategic advice and guidance on a range of issues, helping regional organisations to reduce property costs, rationalise surplus assets, identify savings and generate income from land and buildings.

Stuart Norgett, Partner at Ingleton Wood’s London office, said: “The CCS framework is hotly contested with limited places for suppliers, so we’re naturally delighted to be part of it.

“We have worked with Essentia in the past and we’re looking forward to that relationship continuing.

“It’s a huge honour to be part of such a significant framework and demonstrates our capacity and expertise within the public sector.”

Stephen Edgar, Property Consultancy Director at Essentia, said: “We’re delighted to have been awarded a place on this prestigious framework, to deliver innovative property expertise to the public sector in London, the South East and East Anglia. Given the vast public-sector estate in these areas, we are fully aware of how competitive this framework is.”

Under the framework for Estates Professional Services, Ingleton Wood may be required to offer advice that includes the preparation and development of an estate strategy, building surveying services, disposal of freehold and leasehold property and general guidance on estate and property management.
