Ingleton Wood proudly participated in this year’s Defence, Procurement, Research, Technology & Exportability (DPRTE) event – a dedicated platform for the UK’s defence procurement and supply chain community.

In direct response to the sector's growing appetite for collaboration and knowledge sharing, this year’s show marked a new milestone – with industry leaders, innovators, and decision-makers coming together over a new two-day format to deeper explore the opportunities and challenges shaping the future of the defence sector.

From impactful keynote sessions to thought-provoking panel discussions, DPRTE 2025 provided a forum for tackling critical topics like technological and infrastructural advancements, navigating increasingly complex global issues, and how best to manage defence spending. 

The event also reinforced the importance of embedding resilient infrastructure to support defence operations and how best to protect the supply chain.

Our team had the privilege of engaging in meaningful conversations, exchanging insights, and exploring opportunities to apply our multidisciplinary expertise to support the sector's evolving needs.

A theme in many conversations over the two days was the abundance of projects in the pipeline, yet a noticeable market hesitation to move forward. This caution is partly influenced by the transition to a new government and ongoing global challenges. However, there is a strong sense of confidence that this mindset will shift, with expectations of instructions being issued and processed more swiftly in the near future."
