Ingleton Wood retains Top 50 consultancy ranking in Building Magazine 2023 league table Friday, 3rd November 2023

Property and construction consultancy Ingleton Wood has cemented its Top 50 consultancy ranking in Building Magazine’s renowned league table for the fifth year in a row.

The Practice was ranked 47th in the overall Top 150 Consultant rankings for the 2022-23 financial year – a position we have held every year since 2018-19 amid growing demand for our multi-disciplinary and sustainability services across all sectors and offices.

We also climbed the charts in two subcategories: surveyors (up 10 places to 31st) and architects (up 13 places to 32nd). In addition, the rankings showed our total annual UK fee income has increased to over £20 million while our workforce has passed the 250 milestone.

Firms were ranked on factors including fee income, the number of chartered and technical staff, staff recruitment, areas of work, and the number of UK offices.

Managing Partner David Cresswell said: “To strengthen our Top 50 ranking in Building Magazine’s league table for the fifth year running is a magnificent achievement and reflects the fantastic work our amazing teams are carrying out every day.

“We are constantly investing in our staff, from training webinars and industry qualifications to charity and volunteering events, helping our teams to rise to the occasion to deliver for our clients and contractors time and time again despite some difficult industry-wide conditions.

“Over the past year, we have celebrated the opening of our seventh Ingleton Wood office in Nottingham and moved to larger premises in Oxford – helping us to reach the 250 employee milestone and show Ingleton Wood is a great place to work, develop your career and have good fun.

“Elsewhere, we have made significant strides in our award-winning sustainability services, working with the likes of English Heritage and Blenheim Palace as well as a host of local authorities, education providers and NHS Trusts.

“We also continue to support large-scale infrastructure projects such as the groundbreaking electric vehicle charging site at NEC Birmingham and a new border control facility at Harwich International Port.

“We look forward to building on these successes and delivering for our fantastic teams and clients in 2024.”

Ingleton Wood is one of the largest property and construction consultancies covering East Anglia, Northern England, the Midlands, Central England, London and the South East, with offices in Colchester, Cambridge, Oxford, Billericay, Norwich, Nottingham, and London.
