Nottingham office wins over 50 projects and doubles team in first six months Tuesday, 5th March 2024

Property and construction consultancy Ingleton Wood has announced fresh growth plans across the Midlands and northern England after our new Nottingham office secured more than 50 infrastructure project appointments and doubled its team in just six months.

We opened our seventh office, based at Sherwood Business Park, in summer 2023 to expand and strengthen our geographic reach from the East of England, South East and London.

The Nottingham team has a dedicated focus on the public sector and secure infrastructure sectors including net zero and renewable energy project delivery.

Senior Associate Ben Bettle and five additional sector specialists were appointed to drive the business and develop our multi-disciplinary services.

Within the first six months of opening, our Nottingham office was appointed to over 50 large-scale infrastructure projects across the region and doubled its team to a dozen staff including mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineers, building information modelling (BIM) and computer-aided design (CAD) technicians, with plans to expand further.

Senior Associate Nick Fox has also recently been appointed to help support the leadership team to further strengthen the building services and sustainability agenda of the Nottingham office. Nick brings with him over a decade of experience in a wide range of sectors and a strong pedigree of building teams and supporting clients with complex requirements.

David Cresswell, Managing Partner at Ingleton Wood, said: “To be appointed to over 50 complex sustainable infrastructure projects just six months after launching our Nottingham office while seamlessly doubling our specialist local team is a fantastic achievement.

“We’ve laid many important foundations, allowing us to invest in our accelerated growth strategy for the Midlands and northern England as we look to scale up the team in Nottingham to meet increasingly strong demand for our multidisciplinary services.

“This is a very exciting time for Ingleton Wood. We look forward to the next phase of our national expansion plans and strengthening our secure infrastructure services.”

Ingleton Wood has built a relationship based on trust with UK and US based public sector departments and contractors over the last decade.

Our experience in this sector has resulted in the design and delivery of a wide range of infrastructure projects, including nationwide programmes of work, the development of new and emerging requirements, and the feasibility to full design of bespoke and secure facilities and infrastructure.

The ever-changing demands of the secure infrastructure sector means Ingleton Wood is continually developing our services to meet client needs for expertise and resources. Our services for the secure infrastructure sector include masterplanning, modular design, new builds and refurbishment, and security enhancements.

Darren Fowler, Partner and Architect at Ingleton Wood, said: “We are thrilled with the support of our customers which has resulted in over 50 appointments. In response, we have organically grown our Nottingham team to ensure we can maintain our bespoke multidisciplinary secure infrastructure services.

“These are important achievements which mean a lot for our local team of sector specialists as we continue to scale up our resources.”

Our Nottingham office is seeking to appoint a local Project Architect, Senior Architectural Technologist, and Electrical and Mechanical Building Services Engineers. See our latest vacancies here and feel free to contact us to learn more about the roles.
