Cambridge fundraising quiz supports local charities Thursday, 28th July 2022

Our Cambridge team has donated hundreds of pounds to two local charities close to their hearts following a fundraising quiz night.

Maggie’s Cambridge provides life-changing support to people diagnosed with cancer and their loved ones. The charity was chosen by a team member who used their services while receiving treatment.

Meanwhile, mental health charity Richmond Fellowship runs social enterprise projects to support people on their mental health recovery journey. Richmond Fellowship was chosen by a member of the team who is very passionate about their important work and whose relative works for the charity.

Our Cambridge office was delighted to raise a total of £380 on the night. The amount was split and donated to each charity.

Clare Huntley from Richmond Fellowship said: “Many thanks to Ingleton Wood for arranging such a great night on behalf of Richmond Fellowship and Maggie’s Cambridge. Our team really enjoyed the evening and we were really pleased to have come third!

“The donation is gratefully received and will be used for the benefit of the people we support.”

The fundraising event was held at The Cambridge Brew House in May.

Anni Folan-White, Partner at our Cambridge office, said: “We are delighted to have supported both of these fantastic charities, who are close to our hearts and carry out essential work in local communities to help those in need.

“It was wonderful to see such strong support from the team, and we look forward to upcoming charity events in 2022.”
