Ingleton Wood’s planning team are proud to be supporting Essex County Council in securing approval for a brand-new, reimagined library facility in Clacton-on-Sea.
The scheme involves the demolition of the existing library building and the construction of a modern two-storey and part three-storey facility on the same site.
Once complete, the new building will provide:
- Modern public library and registration services
- Adult Community Learning (ACL) facilities
- Flexible meeting rooms and partner spaces
- Staff offices, improved access, and enhanced landscaping
This project is a perfect demonstration of our expertise in navigating complex, large-scale planning applications with multiple challenges, ensuring that ambitious developments can move forward smoothly and successfully.
Equally, it underlines our collaborative approach, with our planning team not only working with our in-house quantity surveyors but also integrating seamlessly with external architects and consultants, offering a flexible, full-service planning solution.
This ensures clients and project partners can have confidence that we will deliver successful outcomes and meaningful benefits for the communities these projects serve.
We look forward to seeing this exciting development progress, so stay tuned for further updates.
