Peter Webb joins our team as director of our newly opened Oxford office at a time when the practice has just increased its national league-table ranking to 48 in a list of the UK’s top 150 consultants compiled by Building magazine.
The building services engineer has worked extensively with the construction industry and said: “I’m looking forward to getting to know the Ingleton Wood teams and building our own team here in the Oxford office.”
Peter, 37, added: “For me, the construction industry is all about the people. Working alongside clients, contractors and design teams is always interesting.
“The recent public focus on energy usage and carbon footprints is something that the industry has been improving for many years.
“Ingleton Wood have a great history of making energy improvements in both new and existing buildings, which can become even more interesting when looking at heritage buildings. This is where we will initially focus our attentions in Oxfordshire.”
David Cresswell, partner at Ingleton Wood, said: “We already do a lot of work in Oxfordshire and Peter is a great addition to the team and brings with him great strengths to cement our presence here. Oxfordshire is the perfect location to open a base and expand further our services into central England.”
Building magazine compiles the annual list of the top 150 architects, engineers, surveyors and project managers in the UK according to the number of employees, chartered staff and project fees. This year, Ingleton Wood, which can trace its origins to the 1930s, has jumped 25 places from 73 to 48.
