Ingleton Wood celebrates 5 Years of growth & innovation in Oxford Thursday, 14th November 2024

Ingleton Wood are proud to mark a significant milestone; five years since the opening of our Oxfordshire-based office.

Over the past half-decade, we have grown not only in size, but also in scope; with our commitment to delivering impactful projects across a wide and diverse range of sectors establishing us as a vibrant hub of innovation and expertise, and solidifying our reputation as a trusted industry leader in the region.

From our involvement in modern developments within the education, healthcare, and commercial sectors, to projects featuring prestigious heritage buildings and estates, our work encompasses both the traditional and contemporary - and everything in between.

A growing and passionate team of experts

Since opening our doors in 2019, our Oxford office has seen the steady expansion of our multidisciplinary team, which now includes professionals in building services engineering, structural and civil engineering, climate adaptation, and sustainability.

Our team embodies a unique blend of experience, creativity, and enthusiasm, which has empowered us to take on increasingly ambitious projects and clients from an eclectic mix of industries.

The collaborative spirit within our Oxford office has been a cornerstone of our success, enabling us to overcome often-complex challenges across a wide range of projects - from modern commercial fit-out projects for public-facing clients, to sensitive historical estates, redevelopment initiatives, and new residential sites.

Expanding project scope & complexity

As our team has grown, so too has the complexity and impact of the projects we take on.

With our shared commitment to excellence driving us in every endeavour, we are always pushing to deliver outstanding results time and time again.

Over the past five years, we’ve been privileged to work on some of the region’s most notable developments, partnering with local authorities and private developers to deliver projects that balance quality, functionality, and sustainability.

Combining our multidisciplinary expertise in forward-thinking and creative design solutions means we have the in-house capacity to deliver projects for clients across a broad spectrum of industries; all with their own unique requirements and specifications.

Leading the way in sustainable design

Sustainability lies at the heart of everything we do at Ingleton Wood, and as the hub of our central sustainability team, our Oxford team is no exception.

Our team has supported clients with a diverse range of projects, including energy audits and carbon reduction strategies, redevelopment projects, grant funding applications, community centres and cultural spaces, new homes, manor houses, private estates, and leisure centres.

Throughout the last five years, we’ve been at the forefront of integrating environmentally conscious design into each project. From energy-efficient schemes to innovative green technologies, we’re helping clients meet, and exceed, their sustainability targets.

Our work on projects such as ‘The Linmere Farmstead’ and ‘Stretford Public Hall’ exemplify our commitment to enhancing the thermal performance and energy efficiency of both new and existing buildings.

Whether through improving the environmental footprint of historic sites or designing modern, sustainable housing solutions, we are proud to be shaping a more sustainable future across Oxfordshire.

Looking ahead

As we look ahead and become more involved in the evolving nature of our clients, we’re excited to support more of the Nation’s most beautiful buildings, as well as helping to influence the future of retrofit and new build.

As we celebrate five successful years in Oxford, we’re filled with much excitement and anticipation. With a growing team, an ever-diverse project portfolio, and an unwavering commitment to sustainability, we’re ready to take on even more complex and challenging projects that will shape the architectural and environmental landscape of the region.

Our annual networking event at the Grade II* listed Divinity School, Old Bodleian Library, was a proud moment that highlighted our dedication to heritage projects and our strong ties within the community.

Here’s to the next five years and beyond, as we continue to drive creativity, expertise, and excellence in everything we do.

For more information or to explore potential collaborations, reach out to our Oxford team.

We look forward to continuing solving global challenges, one building at a time.
