Ingleton Wood's Marta Holton, Architectural Director, has been featured in recent BBC and ITV news articles showcasing her involvement in 'The All Female Design and Build Project'.
Led and coordinated by Kat and Fiona Parsons, 'The All Female Design and Build Project' aims to showcase the talented women working in the industry and promote gender equality in construction by assembling an all-female team for a sustainable house renovation project in Gosbeck near Needham Market, Suffolk.

Ingleton Wood provided architectural services as well as MEP engineering for this project:
- The architectural team comprised of Senior Architect Antigoni Patsalou Cousin, Architectural Designer, Faye Harniman, with design works overseen by Marta Holton.
- The MEP Engineering design was overseen by Ingleton Wood’s Partner Anni Folan-White and delivered by Building Services Engineer Aarthi Arun.
Marta Holton commented on the project so far;
“It’s been great working with such inspirational clients to deliver their dream home. We are very excited to see the works progressing on site and we look forward to reporting on the completion.
Being involved in this project is very important to us, as we would love to see more women and young people represented in the industry. As a practice, we do lots of work with various schools; attending career fairs, running design workshops and projects, and providing work experience, all to encourage women and young people into construction.
Shining a light on different trades and disciplines and having this project's positive feedback and exposure has been phenomenal. We hope it inspires more people to consider and choose a career in construction."
