Ingleton Wood launches Community Support Project to help local charities Monday, 14th June 2021

We have announced a new scheme to raise vital funding for local charities and good causes amid the Pandemic – and need our clients to lend their full support!

Ingleton Wood has launched our Community Support Project across our six offices which represent and support local communities in Central England, East Anglia, London, and the South East.

An integral part of the project journey with our clients is to be inquisitive, and ask our clients their thoughts and opinions on the services we provide. We do this through our Client Feedback Questionnaire, ensuring we supply the best possible service through every project we deliver.

Whilst we understand that taking time to complete a questionnaire can be a laborious task, this new campaign sees Ingleton Wood donate £20 to a range of charities for every completed form received from our clients.

From hospices to homeless charities, each of our six offices have chosen a charity which is close to their hearts and local to their office with the hope we will have a large sum of money to divide between all six charities at the end of the year.

Our Colchester Office is supporting Grassroots Charity, who are an independent grant making charity who help the local community and voluntary groups with small financial awards and aim to improve the lives of local people, in particular those who are disadvantaged, vulnerable, isolated or lonely.

By providing small grants to help community and voluntary organisations to support local people with social welfare services, Grassroots tick all those boxes and we are pleased to be contributing to their valuable work.

Our Cambridge Office is supporting Cambridge Street Aid, who help people on the streets to turn a corner by raising a fund from which people who are, or have been, on the streets can apply for a grant to help them get off, and stay off, the streets.

Cambridge Street Aid doesn’t receive ‘global’ funding and are in need of more support. The charity also ties in with the charitable objectives of our Cambridge Office through volunteering for homeless charities and donating to food banks.

Our Norwich Office is supporting Broadland Housing Association’s Safe Sanctuary project. They provide over 5,300 homes in Norfolk and north Suffolk with a range of accommodation types. A key part of their diverse portfolio are domestic abuse hostels, and Broadland have so far provided five homes for people in need of safe and secure accommodation.

The Safe Sanctuary project will support this special area of their work by helping to fund better quality outdoor spaces, including outdoor seating and landscaping, while helping to provide an environment of calm for victims of domestic abuse.

Our Billericay Office is supporting Little Havens Hospice. They provide care for children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and support for their families. As much as £4.4 million needs to be raised each year in order to continue providing this invaluable care and support and we would like to be part of this effort for such a worthy local charity.

The team in Billericay are currently working on a project to provide a new storage building for outdoor play equipment at Little Havens Hospice which is due to start in Summer 2021.

Our London Office is supporting The Whitechapel Mission. They are a volunteer led organisation who serve the men and women caught in the cycles of poverty, hopelessness and dependencies of many kinds, and to see their lives transformed to hope, joy and lasting productivity.

They see as many as 600 people a day come through their doors looking for their assistance and they help by meeting immediate needs: food, shelter, clothing, and medical care, as well as addressing deeper needs for life-skills and job-skills training, and addiction recovery.

Our Oxford Office is supporting Helen & Douglas House who provide a home for local terminally ill children and their families with round the clock care in a warm, loving environment.

They give families the time and space to enjoy the precious moments they have left with each other to create happy memories in their last days, weeks, months or years together.

We are thrilled to be supporting these incredible causes and hope each of our clients will join us in raising money for our chosen charities through the completion of our Client Feedback Questionnaires.
