Ingleton Wood raises funds for St Helena Hospice at Annual Golf Day Thursday, 19th September 2024

Ingleton Wood proudly hosted its annual golf day at Hintlesham Golf Club in Suffolk, continuing its ongoing commitment to supporting local charities.

The event, now in its eighth year, is held to raise money and awareness for St Helena Hospice. A charity that provides vital care and support to those facing incurable illness and bereavement in North East Essex and surrounding areas; and we are thrilled that this year's event has raised over £8K!

Since its inception, Ingleton Wood's charity golf day has now become somewhat of a tradition, with golfers coming together to enjoy a day of spirited competition, fundraising, and networking.

To date, Ingleton Wood has raised over £50K for St Helena Hospice, demonstrating our commitment to making a positive impact in the local community.

The funds raised from the annual golf day help ensure that St Helena Hospice can continue providing compassionate care and support to those who need it most.

"We are thrilled to have hosted another successful golf day in support of St Helena Hospice," said David Cresswell, Managing Partner of Ingleton Wood and Trustee for St Helena Hospice.

"It is a cause that is close to our hearts, and we are incredibly proud of the amount we have been able to raise over the past eight years. Our sincere thanks go to everyone who attended and has contributed to this fantastic achievement."

Ian Dowson, a St Helena Hospice Ambassador, also attended the event to deliver a passionate speech highlighting the positive impact fundraising events make on the communities the Hospice serves.

"It was an honour to attend Ingleton Wood's annual golf day and witness the incredible generosity of everyone involved. The continued support from Ingleton Wood over the past eight years has been invaluable to St Helena Hospice, helping us provide essential care and support to our community”.

The annual golf day is just one of the many ways Ingleton Wood supports local charities and demonstrates commitment to social responsibility.

The Practice remains dedicated to giving back to the communities it serves through various initiatives and fundraising efforts.
