Ingleton Wood reaffirms its commitment to supporting the UK’s healthcare infrastructure Friday, 24th January 2025

In response to the UK government's recent announcement of the ‘New Hospital Programme's implementation plan’, Ingleton Wood reaffirms its commitment to supporting the nation's healthcare infrastructure development and welcomes the ambitious vision for modernising the UK’s healthcare facilities.

With extensive expertise in the health sector, our multi-disciplinary team has successfully delivered projects ranging from refurbishments and conversions to extensions and new builds for NHS Trusts, GP practices, and private healthcare providers.

We have proudly designed and delivered numerous acute specialist departments, including operating theatres, endoscopy suites, inpatient wards - such as dementia care units -emergency departments, scanning units, critical care and high dependency units, and imaging suites like fluoroscopy, MRI, and ultrasound.

Our proven ability to design and deliver complex, sustainable, and future-ready healthcare projects positions us as a trusted partner in achieving the programme's goals, ensuring innovative and efficient solutions for the UK’s growing healthcare needs.

We consider sustainability as a primary design objective, and through our environmental discipline can provide an all-encompassing team including environmental design engineers, accredited low-carbon consultants to produce energy certificates, and qualified BREEAM Healthcare assessors.

The multidisciplinary structure of our practice ensures an in-house coordinated design team can provide an integrated approach to projects, including architecture, project management, building surveying, building services design, interior design, and Principal Designer services.

Paul Cavalier, Partner at Ingleton Wood, commented on our readiness to support the Government’s New Hospital Programme:

"As a multidisciplinary practice with extensive experience in healthcare design, Ingleton Wood fully supports the New Hospital Programme's vision to modernise and expand the nation’s healthcare facilities.

This initiative represents a significant step forward in addressing the growing demands on the healthcare system and our expertise in delivering sustainable, innovative, and patient-centered solutions, ensures we are well-placed to contribute to these transformative projects.”
