We were thrilled to help create a new “welcoming and inspiring” education facility at Little Pumpkins Nursery and expand inclusive early years education and childcare provision for the Lawford community in Essex.
Ingleton Wood was appointed by developers Rose Builders to provide architectural services for the new Early Years centre which will add almost 30 extra places for children aged 0 to 4.
The facility was built as part of the S106 developer contribution of the Lawford Green Development and provides three separate rooms for different age ranges as well as an outdoor classroom with a cover from the weather.
A staff office, reception, car parking and provisions for sustainable transport such as bikes and scooters are also available.
Architect Lily Green said: “We were thrilled to work with Rose Builders and Essex County Council and used our wealth of experience within the education sector to design a light, welcoming and inspiring learning environment that allows the delivery of exceptional care and education for the Lawford community for generations to come.
"It was a pleasure to attend the fantastic opening event and see so many happy faces enjoying the new nursery.”
Tracy Starling, Manager at Little Pumpkins Nursery, said: “Our team are absolutely delighted to be able to get the new provision up and running and to welcome our families.”
