Ingleton Wood was engaged by Luminus Developments Ltd for the conversion of the former Anglian Water headquarters building in Huntingdon.
The building dates from the 1980’s and had 4800m2 of office accommodation over the third and fourth floors. The conversion was approved under Permitted Development Rights. The cruciform shape of the building made a residential conversion reasonably straightforward. 56 units comprising of one and two bedroom flats were formed.
Ingleton Wood provided architecture, planning and mechanical and electrical design services. All flats were for private use and finished to a high standard.
Part of the 0.7 Ha site was retained for parking, but 0.25 Ha was identified for a new build development of 8 houses. Ingleton Wood were commissioned separately for this development. Detailed planning approval was granted this year.
