Bedford Hospital Laparoscopic Theatre

Ingleton Wood’s healthcare team were appointed as Architect and Contract Administrator for the provision of a new Laparoscopic Operating Theatre at Bedford Hospital, taking in the latest European digital equipment.

Ingleton Wood commenced their involvement in completing ADB room data sheets prior to completing the Architectural design work and building services coordination.

The work was undertaken in a particularly challenging and complex environment, surrounded by existing theatres in 24-hour operation and involved the re-modelling of a former sterile services area to form the new theatre suite.

The suite itself comprised the theatre, anesthetic and preparation rooms along with scrub and dirty utility areas.
