Colchester United Football Club, Tiptree Training Ground

Ingleton Wood were appointed by Colchester United Football Club Ltd. to design a purpose built training centre at their Tiptree training ground. The centre was to house a suite of changing rooms, fitness and physiotherapy facilities, together with a canteen, and training and meeting rooms.

This centre serves five training pitches and is situated off of Grange Road in Tiptree via access into a large car park supporting the facility.

The building is in the style of an Essex Barn with large feature windows, tiled roof and weather boarded elevations.

This scheme is part of a wider development, which now involves two phases of private housing currently being designed by Ingleton Wood in readiness for planning.
