Ingleton Wood have worked in partnership with Inspiration Trust on an exclusive basis since 2017 providing a full spectrum of consultancy services.
Sir Isaac Newton Sixth Form is located centrally within Norwich in a former fire station building converted under a previous PFI scheme. The practice has carried out a number of alteration and refurbishment projects on the site to adapt it to the clients’ changing needs and delivering first class teaching spaces.
This project focused on alterations to the top floor former science area, creating a 3rd classroom space using the existing two adjoining larger classrooms and science preparation room. New internal walls were constructed, and new smart board teaching walls provided. New vinyl flooring was provided throughout and full redecoration to brighten up the areas. Additionally, a new air condition system was provided to the new classroom space and alterations to the ventilation system to ensure it was suitable for a classroom space and previous issues of overheating were overcome.
The project was delivered successfully both on time and within budget during the school summer holiday period.
