London Borough of Hackney Asset Management Plans

Ingleton Wood has undertaken a series of structural condition surveys for The Learning Trust, working with primary schools in the London Borough of Hackney.

In the first phase, sixteen schools were thoroughly examined by a team of building surveyors and services engineers to compile a very detailed list of assets and repairs.

The deliberations included assessment against the DCSF criteria for condition and maintenance of elements of building fabric and services engineering. This included fire protection, health & safety, amenity to education standards and welfare.

The surveys were undertaken in quick succession over a period of one or two days per site when both surveyors and engineers jointly inspected all assets and made entries on the background database for each of these.
