Project ELAN, UK MoD

Project ELAN was created following a government drive to improve the quality of living for military personnel and create a fast-track, cost effective, tangible solution utilising existing accommodation. The scope of project ELAN involves the complete refurbishment of existing living accommodation through the various ranks of the Royal Air Force and Army.

Our design team have been involved in various schemes across the UK and responsible for developing the Elan standards and renovating existing assets into a workable scheme, obtain all statutory permissions, development of the multi-disciplinary design packages and design services during construction. This programme operated over 5 years across the MoD estate individual team members personnel involvement included for some 2,500 bed spaces and ancillary works.
